Jonathan is a licensed professional engineer and has twelve years of experience in transportation systems and structures planning, design, construction, and project management. He has a well diversified background of professional experience in the public and private sectors of civil engineering. In addition he has obtained valuable experience in working with GIS applications for infrastructure and asset management and is currently seeking a certificate as a GIS Professional.
Since graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor of science in Civil Engineering, Jonathan has worked for two well-known central Illinois engineering firms prior to serving in the public sector as the County Engineer for Stark and Woodford Counties. In 2011 he left Woodford County to begin Cloudpoint Geographics.
Matthew is a recent graduate of Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. He earned his degree in Geography and Planning while obtaining minors in Sociology and Environmental Studies as well as certificates in GIS and Sustainable Planning. Matthew is currently continuing his education; pursuing a masters degree in Geospatial Intelligence through Penn State University's on-line degree program.
Matthew brings a broad range of analytical GIS application experience that he has obtained from his academic studies as well as his internship work at Hanson Professional Services (Springfield, Illinois).
