Bloomington, IL Sign Inventory Via Bicycle

Cloudpoint staff is currently undertaking a very large sign inventory for the City of Bloomington, IL.  The city has over 20,000 signs and over 300 miles of roadway, making this the biggest SignOps® project we've undertaken so far.  With so many signs to inventory and such a large area to cover, we brainstormed ideas to improve productivity.  The solution that we came up with: Bicycles. 

The bicycles are working great!  Staff can park in a central location, and the 2 or 3 members of the field crew can break off to cover different areas all at once.  This allows us to cover large swaths of land faster than ever before! We have only been at this for a few weeks, and we can already tell how beneficial using the bikes has been for the project. By mounting iPads directly to the handlebars, we can better use SignOps® mobile capabilities.
