Cloudpoint's Showcase Was Dino-mite at T-REX

Cloudpoint joined forces with our partners at Esri to host the latest Local Government GIS Solutions Showcase in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. The event was held at the T-REX innovation hub, a nonprofit coworking space and entrepreneur development center that has become a focal point for the city’s growing geospatial community.

Bill Steele, Business Development Manager, served as the day’s Emcee and kept the program running smoothly. Presentations featured experts from both Cloudpoint and Esri. Representing Esri were Chase Fisher, Solution Engineer Team Lead – State & Local Government, and Kevin Eblimit, Solution Engineer. From Cloudpoint, attendees heard from Cassidy Killian, Senior GIS Project Manager, and Scott MacDonald, Solution Engineer.

The team explored practical GIS solutions that empower local governments, covering topics such as sign management, real-time field data collection, streamlined capital planning, and the latest advances in GeoAI. Participants engaged in presentations and demos about how these tools can be implemented to maximize efficiency and support data-driven decision-making for their organizations.

Additionally, hosting the showcase at T-REX highlighted the importance of St. Louis as a national hub for geospatial innovation. With the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s $2 billion western headquarters under construction nearby, and with T-REX already home to more than 400 founders, developers, and innovators, the venue perfectly embodied the forward-looking spirit of the showcase.

As with all our events, the focus remained on education, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. We were thrilled to connect with so many local government professionals and demonstrate the tangible value of GIS solutions in their daily operations.
