Savannah Sharp has recently joined the Cloudpoint team as Business Development Technician. She will help our team expand our market footprint across all industries with targeted outreach and marketing.
A bit of background on Savannah:
Savannah grew up in Northern Michigan and Central Indiana before attending Earlham College, graduating in 2023 with a degree in Earth and Environmental Science with a focus in Geology. After graduating, Savannah moved to the Peoria area and worked as a barista at Zion Coffee Bar and as Hospitality Staff Lead and Lead Youth Rec Instructor at First Ascent Climbing. She still spends her evenings at First Ascent running the youth program. Savannah's GIS journey began during coursework at Earlham, where she used GIS to analyze geochemical water quality in local waterways in Richmond, Indiana, and to research turbidity rates in the Whitewater River following the removal of the Weir Dam.
Savannah's fun facts:
Favorite fossil/rock is the Petoskey Stone
Savannah is a CWA-Certified Level 2 Climbing Wall Instructor
Her two favorite National Parks (so far) are Isle Royale and Arches National Park
