Erin is our Director of Data Services and is also a PE (Professional Engineer). If we were to describe her, we would say she always has an enthusiastic attitude no matter the difficulty of the task at hand. She is always eager to contribute and share with others.
Leading Cloudpoint’s NG911 and Cemetery teams keeps Erin busy by developing GIS tools and processes to serve our clients and managing and working on projects. She handles our project specific contracts.
Here in Central Illinois, when people say “it’s a small world”, they aren’t kidding. After completing her Civil Engineering Degree at Bradley University, Erin worked under eventual Cloudpoint founder, Jonathan Hodel, at Woodford County for two summers doing GIS data collection and used it a little in her engineering work. This unearthed a passion for GIS and the rest is history.
An interesting fact about Erin is she met her husband in Calculus. She and her husband, who is a teacher, used to have to alternate who was working and who stayed home in the school year vs. the summer. We are thankful Erin can be here full-time now.
Erin and her husband of 17 years reside in Washington, Illinois with four children. Her family is very invested in sports; whether that be in her kid’s high school sports which include baseball, track, basketball, and cross country or watching the Cubs. They also enjoy renovating their house.
