New Employee Alert!!! Join us in welcoming Daniel Bishop. He joins us from Kankakee County, IL where he was a client of ours for several years. He recently moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, and will become our second fully remote employee.
Daniel’s educational background includes:
Undergraduate in Geology from Olivet Nazarene University
Master’s in Geography from Utah State University
How he became interested in GIS:
Daniel initially became interested in GIS when taking a class in GIS while in college for his undergraduate degree.

About Daniel:
Moving to New Orleans, Daniel has enjoyed orienting and familiarizing himself with the city. Being raised in the Midwest, he is excited to experience New Orleans in the winter.
He has been drumming since age 12 — primarily on vintage drums. Which led him, over the past year, to begin making animal hide drum heads, as was done before 1958. It's a fun and admittedly niche hobby.
Hobbies & Interests:
Daniel has been involved in the American Association of Geographers (AAG), Illinois GIS Association (ILGISA), and the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA).
He enjoys trying new recipes, listening to NPR/podcasts, soccer, biking, and live music.
He also tries to stay involved in climate advocacy.
