Reflecting and Refocusing: Our Second Annual Company Meeting

As our Company footprint spreads across the Country, both in clientele and employees, it has become increasingly important for everyone to come together once a year for our Annual Company Meeting. Our remote employees flew in from far and wide last Thursday and joined us in the evening for a picnic. As our company family grows, it remains important that we include our home families that support us all. We enjoyed a meal together, tons of laughs and catching up, ice cream from Uncle Bob’s (a local favorite), and outdoor games of bags, sand volleyball, and frisbee golf. Of course, the most exciting part of any party for kids, we made sure to have a bounce house on site.

We met at the office bright and early Friday morning for a group picture. A light breakfast of coffee, cinnamon rolls, and coffee cake awaited us at Jon’s house. We dove right into our meeting, which included talks about the state of the Company and plans for the next 10 years out. We discussed ideas for internal improvement through breakout groups and presented these to the larger group. We have found great value in this practice, seeking input from every employee and realizing tangible changes made from these ideas. We rounded out the meeting with announcements and concluding thoughts. And, of course, lunch and dessert from Caleri’s (another local favorite!) were enjoyed before heading off to golf.

Tee Time --

While the meeting and brainstorming is the ultimate impetus for this gathering, we all know that since the pres. loves golf, we all get to enjoy an afternoon out perfecting our swings. Thankfully the heat had not turned too unbearable yet, and we all savored the chance to get outside and spend more time as a group. But alas, as all good things too must come to an end, we bid each other farewell and safe flight!

GO SOLVE IT!
